Interesting fact is the uniform worn by the LLDB Lt appear to be a modified British SAS Smock 
used by French paras during the First Indochina war. 
Early in the Vietnam war the Vietnamese Airborne manufactured their own uniform in a similar material , 
but the uniform design was different to this one in the photo.
